Normaal gesproken zou ik er geen greintje aandacht aan willen besteden deze dag, maar ik ben nu eenmaal jarig en een echte bets geeft ‘m dan van leer.
Ik heb mezelf een echte happy tree friend genaamd giggles cadeau gedaan, een ieder die niet weet waar ik het over heb, veel gegoogel gewenst.
Terwijl de mirages over de champs – elysees en de force frappee over de hoofden van frankrijk heenrazen wens ik u allen veel plezier met mijn kleine onderzoek in de krochten van bretagne, de dolmen, cairn, menhirs, tumulus et allee couverte a St.Just et treal, veel kijkplezier.

A few weeks ago i caught a glimpse of Deep Blue Sea, a not so special movie with some fishies. But Saffron Burrows is the one fighting off the sharks. And it is she who always makes me remember a duo of 90’s televivision series: Karaoke and Cold Lazarus.
Both Karaoke and Cold Lazarus are written by Dennis Potter who is best known for writing The Singing Detective. BBC and Channel 4 co-produced and broadcasted the series. A unique situation, as requested by Potter before his death.
As a side effect of this situation, copyrights ownership is now totaly unclear. That means no dvd. Lucky for us, there is the internets. Tune in after the break.
It took a bit longer than planned. But here it is: the second season of this absolutely weird series by Lars Von Trier. Season one is still available too , you have not missed out.. yet!

“Introduction: 17 years ago a small recording studio, TOP SHELF, located in the basement of a brownstone in the East Village section of New York, was looted during the Thompkins Square riots of 1988, displacing the recordings of many soon-to-be Hip Hop stars. The studio had been the meeting place for many rappers, neighborhood kids, and producers that would later be responsible for the greatest period of the Hip Hop age, “The Golden Era.” A search commenced soon after the recordings were lost, but nothing was ever found. So sought after were the tapes, they soon acheived Holy Grail status amongst Hip Hop circles. Despite years of searching, and dozens of hopeless crusades, the tapes remained lost. No one was quite sure who took them or where they were… until now.

Have to make this pots about a marvelous band called Arcade Fire. I discovered them on Fabchannel, Never heard of this band before and watched the whole concert in one fap, I was sold. If I would be on Lowlands this year you definitely find me in the Alpha tent when they are playing. “Arcade Fire is known for its enthralling live performances, as well as its use of a large number of musical instruments.” as noted on there wiki page.
A must see. Best musical act from Canada after Céline Dion. Okay I am joking but check it out yourself what the can do in an elevator or on Rock en Seine. And here is a live song on Jools Holland from there genius first album.
