As expected, shortly after Brazil started photographing and fingerprinting American visitors, on January 1st, the American government began its harsh criticism, not to say attacks, against Brazil. The main reason: long delays and waiting time Americans had to endure during the identification procedure. Some of the first visitors waited over 8 hours to pass through immigration in Brazil, which, fairly enough, was infuriating to some visitors.

There’s already a lot said about this documentary and i don’t need to repeat all that but these people scare the shit out of me, which is probably the way they want it anyway.
Personally i didn’t need anymore confirmation in thinking that we should prepare ourselves for a ‘holy’ war of some sort, this is just a friendly reminder.

BNN showed us today that this so called modern, tolerant and rich country is actually an oldfashioned, egocentric and poor country. When the whole world, and the Dutch government especially, was talking about the immorality of this show, BNN pointed out clearly that the enormous amount of patients waiting for a donor is much more immoral. And while the whole show turned out to be a hoax, the number of patients waiting isn’t.
Joid motivation: Joid jr. has a kidneyproblem since he’s 6 months old. One of them works for 16%. The other one is ok, and jr. is ok now. The insecurity although was killing. There shouldn’t be a shortage, there should be a mountain from where they could pick out the best.
Vinnie motivation: ‘Been a donor for quite some time now I consider it a civilized thing to do, in short it is uncivilized not to do. Like giving blood that’s something also everybody should do sometimes, this is something Im planning to do.
Bloody Hell

A very terrifying report at yesterdays news (English, Dutch) in The Netherlands. Up north in the city of Groningen four men are in custody, suspected of deliberately injecting homosexual men with HIV-infected blood after they had been GHB drugged and raped. Meanwhile the ticker is already at twelve men.
Do we need to say more? Straight or queer, I don’t give a bloody (/Seth) fuck. Insane people are everywhere unfortunately. And although I can understand their disappointment in life, reports like this simply make me feel terribly sick.

Tragedy strikes Eric on the 20th of March 1991, His 4 year old Son died when he fell down out a 54-story Window appartment block in Manhatten. Thats why Eric Clapton made a song called “Tears In Heaven”.

IFFR is nearly over. Yesterday I watched my last movie from the 15 I managed to grab this year (not that much compared to other enthousiasts mind!).
