It appears that the grand Ochblog Movie Theatre was closed this weekend for not nearer to naming reasons. So the OchCult Corner Crew welcomes all the frustrating moviewatchers to enjoy another classic cult flick. Don’t fear the reaper in the back and take a seat at a coffin near you!
Todays movie is directed by J.X. Williams. Little is known, but often he is reffered as the best kept secret of Hollywood. In the sixties he produced a number of movies full of (s)exploitation.

A good week ago in the Bloeddorst comments i mentioned the Ars Macabra Holandica exhibition.
A unique exhibition, bringing together Dutch comic-artists, illustrators, animators, photographers, designers, sculptors and painters, all of them sharing a love for the bizarre, the horrific and the fantastic.
So Ama and i went to the opening to drink some free beer and admire the work of these comic-artists, illustrators, animators, photographers, designers, sculptors and painters. And of course we took some photos, so you can see for yourself. If you like, the exhibition is open until the 29th of april.

While media is chatting that Carnaval is dead, from some editors we know better. Even if it was just that both winter and summer you can have it.
Having a light cold, or living too much northern [update: or southern!], what’s there online?

Currently the IFFR is in full effect. The OchCult Corner couldn’t leave behind, so we present three short movies which perfectly combines dark musick and visuals and where the story has to develop in your brains.
Warning: all movies are save for work and stomach!
First we start with “Flood” of director Silke Witzsch. After this colourful flick it is time to enter the darkness with the second screening “The Chair”, directed by aE3. This movie proofs that also a acoustic chair can be very depressing.
We end the evening with André Werner’s “Daughter of Dementia”, an atmospheric mixture of dark musick with b/w film footage. Showing all of which the OchCult Corner is about. As said the stories are made up by yourself!
This kicks off a new season @ the OchCult Corner, in which we will further grave into the cruel depths of underground movie making. Keep hanging on!

My personal Christmas message to you all is about a bit of peace.
So how a fire in the icy wind,
how a doll that likes no more,
I feel at many a day.
Then I see would hear the clouds that are over us,
and the screams of the birds in the wind.
I sing as an answer in that darkly my song,
and would hope that does nothing happen.

Yes, it is time for another movie screening at the infamous OchCult Corner. Great thanx to Zoute for entertaining the audience in the mean time. I loved to see them turning in their tombs repeatedly! Priceless!
However, a few of you people were not very satisfied with the last movie. No blood, no torture not even necrophilia. So this time, the OchCult Crew presents the sickest of the sickest in music video arts.
The outlet responsible for today’s movie is called SPK, or better Sozialistisches Patienten Kollektiv. With members as Graeme Revell and Brian Lustmord this band has laid some paths in dark musick history. In 1982 SPK released “Leichenschrei” (demonoid), a truly Industrial-classic. But that was not the only terror they had in their mars that year. With the video “Despair” they manage to even offend the most perverted minds.
This video (*) is not suitable for the epileptic people among us, also Animal Party voters are strongly advised not to enter the cellar. For us mere mortals with an iron stomach, all that is left is take a chair and let the sickness literally penetrate your brain!

Yes, yes.. I have been posting about good old Charlie Manson before: 1, 2 (the torrents are dead!). But I just had to let all of you people know about this excellent site.
The site mainly focuses on the various albums released with music that Manson has recorded in all these years in prison. Most of the featured music is downloadable, via donkeypricksucking megaupload, but anyway it IS downloadable… Sometimes it features an old TV interview.. Anyway fun for the people enjoying this sort of stuff.
And another one down, this is what you get when you let your wife manage your band. Some would argue that this albums predecessor Chaos A.D. was alreay down the hill, but this album hit Sepultura right in the neck. The album booklet contains lots of lovely photo’s of the bandmembers getting schminked like an indian, of wich I like Igor Cavalera’s big naked tummy best. For those of you who like this album: fu. But, because I always say this, I’ll say it now:
