TV-film naar een geweldig kort verhaal van Kurt Vonnegut. Uitgangspunt is een futuristisch Amerika waar iedereen gelijk hoort te zijn en handicaps worden uitgedeeld aan diegenen die beter zijn dan gemiddeld. Voor liefhebbers van domme amerikanen is dat uiteraard genieten geblazen.
Sober gefilmd (ik zou ook graag een versie van Terry Gilliam willen zien) maar effektief en lekker wegkijkend. Die gozer die een hobbit speelt in LOTR speelt de hoofdrol en doet dat prima, hoewel het in het begin wat lastig is om niet konstant te checken of zijn schoenmaat toevallig bovenmatig groot is.

Web 2.0 is Fucked and you’re just a product !!!

After bashing the iPhone the next step is of course bashing Web 2.0.
This guy (Andrew Keen) talked about a new age of individualism. With the end of the industrial revolution, “we”, essentially are now “the product”. Ironically Keen is now a fully-fledged fan of Twitter but calls it “nail in the coffin of Web 2.0″.
According to Keen we’re now entering an age of digital fascism or digital feudalism.

Cruijff had er een, Idi Amin en De Gaulle hadden er een en freek wil er ook een. En er is eigenlijk maar één ding dat ontbreekt voor de aankoop van een schitterende Citroën SM: geld. En tijd om het ding te onderhouden. En technische kennis en vaardigheden. En plek om ‘m onderdak te bieden. Maar het blijft trekken, deze imho mooiste voiture ooit geproduceerd.

You can make on more ways than 1 360 degrees panorama’s. Teh simpleste and fastest way is to screw a ‘one shot adaptor’ on your camera.
The camera makes a foto from the mirror on the lens and with special software can you dewarp the foto to use as a 360 degree panorama.
Mr Fiero, the maker from devalvr ( a browser plugin for viewing not to equalize quality panoramas) got the sublieme idea to write simular software and let that loose on the mirror helmets from the NASA smurfs from the spaceshuttles. Now you are in state to look at things the same way the nasa dude did at the moment that the foto was made.
I shall say: download and install the (307 kb) plugin here and vermake you with the panorama’s here. Helaas for our starman from hell, on the moment works de plugin alone on windows. Don’t forget to use the full screen button..
