Asleep somewhere between Derry and Salem, N.H., 1/6/2008. With three rallies down and two more to go, Obama catches a quick nap on his campaign bus as it headed for Salem. I once asked him when we were traveling through Illinois and he was about to fall asleep, if he cared if I took a picture. He said I was fine photographing him until his jaw dropped. This night his jaw dropped after I took three frames. [view all here | via]

Vacationvlogging is my trade and i do not consider my vacation to be taken lightly so here it is.

You can make on more ways than 1 360 degrees panorama’s. Teh simpleste and fastest way is to screw a ‘one shot adaptor’ on your camera.
The camera makes a foto from the mirror on the lens and with special software can you dewarp the foto to use as a 360 degree panorama.
Mr Fiero, the maker from devalvr ( a browser plugin for viewing not to equalize quality panoramas) got the sublieme idea to write simular software and let that loose on the mirror helmets from the NASA smurfs from the spaceshuttles. Now you are in state to look at things the same way the nasa dude did at the moment that the foto was made.

I shall say: download and install the (307 kb) plugin here and vermake you with the panorama’s here. Helaas for our starman from hell, on the moment works de plugin alone on windows. Don’t forget to use the full screen button..

Someone has just let me seen a cool new feature in goegel earth. You can now open and navigate 360 degrees panoramic photo’s. Just like in goegel streetmaps, but with hi-res panorama’s provided by people who know what they are doing.
Download the latest goegel earth, and open this kml file.
Not all panorama’s have been implemented yet, but if you click a round ‘360’ placemark and the popup has a link called ‘click to enter the image’ just click it and enjoy this neat feature. It existed in the latest version to, but you had to buy a special 3d goegel earth mouse (the SpaceNavigator) to navigate, but not anymore.
If you don’t want to install goegel earth: all panoramas can be seen at 360cities.net. Have a nice trip around the world!
