Funeral strippers work on Electric Flower Cars (EFC) which are trucks that have been converted to moving stages so that women can perform as the vehicles follow along with funerals or religious processions. EFC came to Taiwan’s public attention in 1980 when newspapers began covering the phenomenon of stripping at funerals.

There is a great deal of debate about whether this should be allowed to continue. In Taipei, Taiwan’s capital, one often hears middle and upper class men complain about the harmful effects of this rural practice on public morality. In contrast, people in the industry see themselves as talented performers and fans of the practice say that it makes events more exciting.

Morgen is het na maanden training eindelijk zover, ik ga morgen de Alpe d’HuZes beklimmen voor KWF Kankerbestrijding!

Het Alpe d’HuZes evenement en ik zijn morgen te volgen op http://live.opgevenisgeenoptie.nl of via de iphone app ben ik op te zoeken (Vincent Barnhard startnummer 1936). Mocht je anderen nog willen attenderen op mijn actie pagina dan hierbij de link naar de pagina.

Ik heb er tot slot heel erg veel zin in. Vandaag was al super toen Alpe d’HuZus de berg beklom, mijn vriendin kreeg ook de kriebels en heeft lopend de voor mij te kraken tijd van 2 uur en 25 min gezet (foto). Al met al Steent de sfeer de frituurpan uit en wordt het morgen onvergetelijk. Ik raad dan ook aan om allemaal Knooppunt Kranenburg te volgen en ’s avonds op de NCRV te kijken naar de samenvatting tussen 19:00 en 20:00 uur.

Na maanden voorbereiding is het aanstaande donderdag “Alpe d’HuZes 2011” waar ik samen met vijfduizend anderen zal proberen twintig miljoen euro voor KWF Kankerbestrijding te werven. Een snel rekensommetje leert dat per deelnemer dus vijfduizend euro aan donaties geworven moet worden. Ik kom nu nog duizend euro te kort en dat voelt niet goed daags voor mijn beklimmingen.

Al het geld van Alpe d’Huzes komt in een apart fonds wat volledig wordt ingezet voor onderzoek en de aanpak van kanker! Geen geld naar directeuren of administratie, maar rechtstreeks naar het doel waarvoor het bedoeld is. Mocht je doneren dan krijg je per mail de donatiebevestiging en een link naar een website waar je mij op 9 juni live kan volgen. Natuurlijk kan je de iPhone app downloaden of donderdag het Alpe d’HuZes evenement vanaf de start om 04:30 uur tot het einde van de dag volgen op Radio 2. ’s Avonds tussen 19:00 en 20:00 uur is er op tv bij de NCRV een samenvatting te zien.

Het afgelopen jaar heb ik mijn sociale leven beperkt, ben ik gestopt met roken en ben ik voor het eerst in meer dan 20 jaar weer gaan sporten. All still existing links (not dead) to mp3 files added to the Tunesday posts (since 2005) are now playable in the Streampad Music Player. Also all new links to mp3 files in posts or pages are now automatically added to this player. Check out the page here or click on ‘0ch MP3′ in the menu bar.

There are +/- 2000 mp3 links in the player but the playlist only displays the first 20. To see more mp3’s click on the last link in the overview/list and then >>| then the next 20 mp3 files are added to the overview/list (not my code).

Proeven datamining door justitie

Het ministerie van Veiligheid en Justitie wil proeven gaan doen met sleepnet-onderzoeken op internet, waarbij combinaties van surf- en aankoopgedrag automatisch leiden tot een verdenking. Dat bevestigt een woordvoerder aan Sp!ts.

Zo kan bijvoorbeeld een slachtoffer van kindermisbruik dat op latere leeftijd een digitale camera en het programma Photoshop aanschaft, automatisch worden aangeduid als potentiële producent van kinderporno.

De voorstellen staan in een vuistdik rapport (pdf) dat begin oktober al klaar was, maar gisteren – midden in het kerstreces van de Tweede Kamer- is gepresenteerd aan de ministeries van VenJ en Economische Zaken, Landbouw en Innovatie. Burgerrechtenorganisatie Bits Of Freedom is geschrokken van de plannen.
