I thought I’d share these few automotove and other transport pics with you. They’re from my archive of nice pics that I find. IThey’ve been “lying” around for some time, and well; I thought it would be nice to free them once again and make them public. I guess these are all old ads and stuff like that. Not he best quality but maybe you like them. Could be useful for some photoshopping, some time. Who knows!

Theyre clickable, so the actual pics are not as tiny as they appear in the more section! No, even I wouldn’t come up with something as sucky as that! I’ve left the slightly bleak colours as they are to give you the opportunity to tweak them in the way you’d like.

Ik geef best toe dat het soms een dunne lijn is tussen een leuke uitnodiging en spam. Soms leest iemand iets over je, online, en besluit contact met je op te nemen. Vandaag werd ik echter toch erg verrast door een mailtje dat ik kreeg. Ik kreeg een mail van een stagiaire bij MasMedia, die me graag zag als kandidaat bij een vaag programma met BH’s van Carlo. Deed me enigszins aan Jos Brink denken, maar ok.

Altijd leuk om ergens voor uitgenodigd te worden, maar eerlijk gezegd ben ik niet zo’n fan van Carlo Boszhard, dus waarom zouden ze mij vragen? Ik reply dus, en vraag me waar ze mijn email adres vandaan hebben, misschien heb ik zo’n opt-in vinkje gemist? “Je hebt gereageerd op een forum bij FOK. Daar staan je gegevens vermeld” kreeg ik terug. Lijkt er dus op dat ze adressen harvesten of iets dergelijks, dus ik mail weer terug dat dit toch niet de bedoeling kan zijn. Echter de dame in spe leek de OPTA niet eens te kennen. Dus ik dacht, ik bel even lief. (Kan me niet voorstellen dat dit echt de bedoeling is, toch?)

In reply Nu.nl announced that they did not use the “fistdeep” title and that the last bit of the permalink can be anything you’d like. (I know so! Duh!)

You may have noticed that I did not actually blurr the info in my previous post; I just coloured it red. This is because it’s really easy to do and now it seems it’s also good because it’s more secure!

Especially blurring numbers using a mosaic, as for some reason is still quite populair, can be insecure. “dheera” shows us how to recode a number that has been made invisible using a mosaic pattern can be restored to get to the original number. So be carefull with your credit cards and other important stuff! (And beware of the geek-babble in the article, it’s nice though…) In practice there will be a lot more difficulties to overcome, but it’s still a possibility you have to keep in ming; better safe than sorry and place a coloured bar on the data you wish to “blur”.

Ofcourse I’m very populair so it’s no surprise I got another friendrequest in my inbox. For a change I decided to click on “show pictures” so it was only now I came to see who made these silly statements in my mail! It is our good ol’ Sp!ts!

Apparently Hyves is very proud of their media coverage, so in their mail they quote an article out of the Spits. Like so:

This organisation, taking care of paying royalties to it’s members is under investigation for fraud and white-washing of money. Of course they’re trying to downplay it now, but the investigation goes on.
