For the fathers among us, this one is easy.
Sonic-Wargames in downtown delfsheaven last saturday at W.O.R.M.
here that is.
Crossblogging bemt!
Check Schrikdraad for the normal* version of this album.
I was very happy to find it cause I never heard Lee’s vocals over these tracks before. The dubversion has been one of my favourite “later period” Lee Perry albums for quite some time now and with the Schrikdraad-post in mind it seemed the right time to liquorice it here.
Btw: it’s a Mad Professor production. Wicked dub. Enjoy!

Wondering about the title? Click. And och… apparently they also need a blog.
Anyway, we’re here to present some entertaining intellectual property so here we go:
Nodog:
-Anyone remember the KLF? Yes it’s that band which burned all their profit (1.000.000 UKPounds). Check this documentary to see the whole story.
Very, very recommended if I may say so.

-For those who are not tired of roundhousekicking yet; here’s an utterly stoning Adult Swim cartoon starring Chuck Norris! It’s called Karate Kommandos and roundhousekicking about is a torrent containing 5 episodes.
Vinnie:
Neil Alden may have an artificial arm, but he has no tin ear. Despite being born without his right arm, Neil has yearned to play bass like his hero Michael Anthony of Van Halen. Through a chance encounter with a German engineer and a little help from his friends, Neil’s dream may come true.
I present +/- 11 min: Hold Me With Your Robot Hand by Daedalus Howell. More: Is It Time To Swap? and even more Daedalus Howell movies at http://daedalushowell.com: What To Do With Your Dead Hooker | Johnny-Come-Early | Let’s Meet Those People
Of course, our goal of recruiting as many gifted female engineers as we can also means encouraging young women who are still in school.
A true scary movie: Google Recruiting Video. Ahum, of course there is no link at all between the first and second part of my post / contribution.
gast!:
Shot over seven years by filmmaker John Dullaghan, this intimate portrait of writer Charles Bukowski reveals a tortured man who survived years of abuse to produce some of the most influential prose of his generation. Packed with interviews with friends and colleagues, the film also showcases rare footage culled from every phase of Bukowski’s past, including a few of his more explosive public readings in the 1960s. Quite a big download, but well seeded and absolutely worth your while.
Betsy :
Anyone remember these three slogans?
WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH
Not so long ago a movie called V for Vendetta was released starring none other than John Hurt as Adam Sutler the dictator.
John Hurt is off course also the man playing the role of Winston Smith in Michael Radford’s version of Nineteen Eighty-Four.
Both can be found on demonoid in excellent quality, here and here.
Sergeant Baker:
GG Allin on Jerry Springer.
Rams:
Gummbah as seen on on Omroep Brabant in the program Walhalla.
The show starts of with Gummbah so you don’t have to watch the whole program.
If, if you are an artist, struggling for exposure
tilting beer(drank)viltjes at your local stamcafe just to pass time just doesn’t cut it!
Last Tunesday I posted a video clip of the German band Planetakis. Since this Tunesday I suffered from an obsessive-compulsive disorder, every few hours I just had to play it a couple times.
I solved my short love for this single German song by searching for more German music videoclips at Myspace and Google.

About a year ago, I received some very weird spam in my junkmailbox for about 2 months. They weren’t about Viagra, penisenlargement, mortgages or sex with beautiful women. They consisted out of text. Not just random words but whole stories. Sometimes, like this one, the story isn’t complete or some parts are double, sorry ’bout that. I thought it was kind of fun in a strange way and saved them for later. They just caught my eye this afternoon and I deceided to post them over here, they are quite long and I’ve got 29 of them, so if I post one story a week, I can go on for more than half a year. Enjoy part 1.
This could become quite a long series but to keep it all in the hand, here’s two PIL albums in one post.
Let’s start off with the second album, entitled “Metal Box” in the UK and (with a slightly different trackorder) “Second Edition” in the USA. Some say this is the best PIL album and that should be encouragement enough to check it out. (Am I right or am I right?)
Download @ Demonoid or here.
After “Metal Box” received unexpected rave reviews from the press, PIL took their sound-experimentation even a step further with their third studio album “Flowers Of Romance“.
There’s so much strange things going on in this one, and paradoxically, it’s still even emptier than the first albums. Less guitar but more soundFX, synths and early sampling experiments.
Not exactly recommended to the uninitiated but if you liked the other albums you can’t go wrong with this one. Excellent stuff and alas the last really good PIL album. (IMNTFHO of course ; )
