A little while ago Braad Spitt, *–* and me, myself and I were talking about music of course. Don’t know the exact reason by now, but Braad dropped this Klaus Wunderlich tune in the chat. From that moment on I asked myself which artist used a sample from it. I knew it was in my collection and just a few minutes ago it occurred to me. Yeeeeeehaa, finally! Things like this are killing. Here it is: Dutch rapper Extince with ‘Zoete Inval’.
Sorry for the interruption.
[update]
Braad suggests in the comments that Extince only pitched Howie B’s sample a little. Here it is, decide yourself.
I stumbled upon this old cassette with lots of tracks from the legendary first couple of 12″’s by J. Saul Kane aka Depth Charge. For those who don’t have a clue who that is; he’s practically the sole inventor of the style called “Big Beat” (short through the corner: hiphop beats combined with reggae basslines + bits of cultmovies-dialogue on top).
That whole style has quickly degraded into *shudder* Eboman-like stuff, but these early 12″’s are really worth a listen, sounding just as fresh and impressive as they did all those years ago.

And very offtopic, but funny: Bunny hopping like no other.
As most of you guys know President Bush wants a new Moonlanding before the year 2020.
Why does he want to go there? To cleanup the stuff that we haven’t left on the moon because we haven’t been there..
Take a look at the video and find out for yourself if we’ve been to moon or it’s a hoax…Video
