Okay, okay… Move along, nothing to see here….
Back to seriously good music people…..
I posted about the band Boris a few weeks ago who named themselves after a Melvins song. Well guess what? I have a hot and out of the stir-fry-pan stoning Melvins discography for y’all to load down the line… 1.4 Gigabytes to be exact!
Well worth it! A pretty complete studio album discography indeed.
All your questions about this legendary band can probably be answered here, so…….

Now most of you will remember Jean Michel Jarre from his hitsingle “Oxygene IV” from the album Oxygene. After this, he did not really have any major hits, but he still managed to put out quite a few CD’s. For instance, he created an album called “music for supermarkets”, created only one copy, and then destroyed the mastertape. (Which was quite a big thing before the age of digitized music and torrents). In 1984, Jarre released the album Zoolook, and it’s weird man. And I mean: WEIRD! Lots of A-B repeats, lots of really corny spacesound-effects, but if you ‘listen’ in between the lines, there’s lots and lots more. Put on your shoulderfilling colbert, your carrot-pants and your fluorescent t-shirt and enjoy!

At the age of 56 soulsinger Gene McFadden (left on the picture)
died of lung-and livercancer.
He worked mostly with John Whitehead (right on the picture)
Whitehead was already dead. He was shot two years ago.
The duo’s later releases, however, were less successful, and,
after serving time in prison for tax evasion, John embarked, briefly,
on a solo career in 1988 with the release of ‘I Need Money Bad’
on Polygram Records in 1988
(I wonder if John also lived on a trailer park ?)
Ok, so I still owe you guys a funny video since the last one I did was a doublepost. I think there’s quite a few people on Och with a higher than avarage interest in architecture and even a some who work or study in this field. To you I say Featest thy eyes (and ears) upon this MTV spoof Pimp my Model
