18 days ago I posted a little thingie about the Szoborpark in Budapest, Hungary. Of course this park is small peanuts compared to the megalomanic Vigeland park in Oslo, Norway.
Since this was my ‘I don’t know how many’-th time in Oslo I sure as hell did not go there. I decided to cook up this post from my own computer while being back in snowy Holland. Some info about the history of this insane park can be found here and here. (pardonez le webdesign!)
For all you fokkers that think that they need more pictures: HERE!
Oh, and don’t forget to listen to The Oslo Motherfuckers
Yes, this time I’ll take you to Germany, and to some of their musical jewels. Listen to Bernd Clüver singing about a boy with a harmonica, Peter Maffay’s ultimate song ‘du’, or goodie2shoes’ favourite Santa Maria by Roland Kaiser. It also contains Andy Borg (Adios Amore), Christian Anders (du gehörst zu mir) and Rex Gildo (altijd goed). 17 Songs of pure German passion, downloadable here. (Rar format, torrent here and here)

Inge, from BigBeats.nl, contacted me if wanted to make a list with my five favourite dance albums of 2005, so he could put it in a list, filled with top five’s from more people who’ve got something to do with dance-music.
Like Bong-Ra, Wim Plug, Spoof and Roowlant. It has a lot of previews of the albums and links to sites with more info and where you can buy them online.
So without further ado: here is the 2005 dance essentials yearlist!
In case you’ve missed it, here is OchBlog’s own yearlist.
Hi there, here we are again, from sunny but bitterly cold Brittany. Todays little movie is called ‘monument’ and holds a little suprise to our non-dutch visitors (
@ r3n3).
I went to the cinema yesterday and saw the movie ‘joyeux noel’ which is about french, scottish and german soldiers fraternizing on christmaseve 1914, which made me think about that monument i always pass by on my way to the bakery here in corps-nuds……

A lot of work went in this top 50,
to quote a dear friend:
‘And maybe I didn´t watch all of those videos but I scrolled down the damn list to see what they had to offer!’
And it’s a lot .. ; ) easy on the smileys

For the launch of the new Volkswagen Fox, 21 international artists from the fields of graphic design, urban art and illustration turned Hotel Fox in central Copenhagen into the world’s most exciting and creative lifestyle hotel.

All right, here we are as promised. I still got some problems removing all the spyware and trojan horses from this pc and i might have mentioned before that azerty paardeballen zuigt, but here you are, a first impression of our first morning here in corps-nuds.

As if there aren’t enough movies on tv now… here’s another! There’s enough reason to give this one some attention though.
Akumulator 1 is a very enjoyable tsjech film about people getting doubles by being on tv. Through the tv-set the real and “televised” people start combatting for each others energy.
If you like your parallel worlds themes in movies (Matrix, Being John Malkovitch, Donnie Darko, etc.) this is a must see!

Rams:
Here we go !
Conny Vink – Bossa nova boy
Dikke Leo – De pruimenpolka
Jan Boezeroen – Parels voor de zwijnen Marie (for Betsy)
Shirley Temple -i want a hippopotamus for christmas(puke!)
Dikke leo & de slijpers – Wij zijn de slijpers van parijs (ritsiebie….)
And my last one is for Maks:
Nico Haak – Unter dem Schottenrock ist gar nichts
Nodog:
Some reggae covers from the early 70’s;
Ken Boothe – Set Me Free (very weird and long mix, the guy responsible for this must’ve been plastered), a great version of Suspicious Minds by Mahalia Saunders and last but not least, awesome horns in this version of To Love Somebody by Bunny Scott.
Maks:
After listening to all that christmas crap, you’ll probably be glad to hear some male screamqueens. So here’s Einstrzende Neubauten with their frontman Blixa Bargeld and ‘Sehnsucht (zitternd)‘ and one by The Pixies and their frontman Frank Black called ‘Tame‘ (with some wonderful ”ahaha’s” by Kim Deal of course : ).
And in addition to Nodog’s sublime Bunny Scott version of ‘To Love Somebody’ and because I was talking ’bout screamqueens, here’s a terrible version by queen Jimmy Somerville.
pedigree:
better late then never, two tunes. Enjoy!
*–*:
Even later and better… Third christmasday stoning rocktunes day!
Desert Sessions-Eccentric Man
ZZ Top-Brown Sugar
ape:
Even more better more late than more never.
Here are a few sixties tracks that prove that all pop music has been invented in Spain:
El Submarino Amarillo
El Silencio Es Oro
El Ritmo De La Lluvia
Sifco:
Due to technical problems and a fat bearded guy even more tragically late.
(Don’t know why but I love those lyrics /lifelog)

Just want to share something with you all. A solo by Jason Newsted, recorded in Texas, 1998 Live. Oh damn, i wish Jason came back to Metallica. And then Chuck Norris roundhousekicked Robert out of the band.
